Intense, powerful and dangerous are words that could be used to describe the brute force of Adam Shame.
Words could not possibly describe how intense Shame can become in the ring when his violence fetish is let loose on an
opponent. Even when facing his own tag partner, Hatred, he lets all his aggression and rage explode upon anyone he fights against.
Having brought his smash mouth style to the tag division alongside Hatred the team was disbanded by GC Mac after they
lost the 'Do or Die' challenge which stated that if they lost, Hatred and Shame could never tag again. A stipulation
that was enforced even at Clan Wars in a five-man team. Shame has had his mind set on singles action since then and
used Scott Renwick to send a message to the SWA roster that even in singles action Adam Shame is a force to reckon with.
Adam Shame brings his intense personality and aggressive style to SWA's Area 52 training facility as one of it's three main trainers and has helped to produce talents such as William Grange, CJ Hunter, Falcon and newcomer Scott Renwick.
Things really started to pick up for Adam in 2006 when he called out Eric Canyon, accusing him of being a lazy champion,
defending against the easiest opposition he could pretending he was giving away oppertunities when in reality he was
protecting his title. Soon Shame became widely known as a working title contender, fighting through anything he had to
in order to make his way to the gold, including his psychotic former tag team partner Hatred, while Canyon did all he could
to protect himself.
Opinions changed overnight. The once loved Canyon was hated by the fans, and the once loathed Shame was accepted as their
hero, despite being constnaly screwedout of the title.
Their bitter fued came to a climax on November 25th 2006 when they closed SWA's year with a brutal 'I Quit' match which ended
in a blood-soaked Shame forcing Canyon to submit after twisting his body around the steel ring post and applying his devastating
submission finisher, the Shame Lock.
On that night Adam Shame became NWA's Scottish Heavyweight Champion and with the fans behind him, ushered in a new era for the Scottish Wrestling Alliance.
